While I was growing up my family was very supportive of my creativity and encouraged my art. As I grew older I felt that artists weren't valued. I felt that my artistic talents weren't worth a whole lot as often an artist's work doesn't get noticed until they have passed away. I created for art for myself and found wasn't easy to sell. I realised that by becoming a graphic designer I would be able help others express themselves through my artwork. This way I was able help others and be valued while continuing to do what I love.
